In September of 2011, Wardco relocated to our current location at 1157 Blair Rd. in Burlington, Ontario. The facility is 24,000 square feet and is ideally located close to the QEW, 403 and 407 highways. We have a showroom featuring an array of products highlighting our vast capability. All office staff have private offices so any one-on-one meetings can be accommodated. We also have a large, private boardroom for use by our partners to meet with their customers during a showroom visit or plant tour.
Our manufacturing plant has been setup to maximize efficiency. Since relocating, our lead times have fallen dramatically due to improved work flow. We also replaced our old paint facility with a state-of-the-art paint booth complete with matching air make-up unit to ensure the atmospheric conditions are ideal to achieve optimal paint and stain finishes. The pre-paint preparation area has been designed with cleanliness as the highest priority to make certain the products are flawless prior to painting or staining.
Another major benefit of the new, stand-alone location is improved customer access. Our clients no longer have to walk around the entire building to arrive at our unit. They can pull up to the front door to receive their shipping documents and then pull up to the loading dock with ease. Our shipping department is open at 6:30am so our contractors and dealers can even pick up their product on the day of installation and still arrive on site “bright and early” to satisfy their customers.
Call us to arrange for a showroom or plant tour and see what Wardco has to offer and how we can take care of all your window and door needs.
CSA Certified and Energy Star Approved
Wardco Window and Door Manufacturing regularly test all of our products to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding the requirements for Energy Star and are continually upgrading to meet the ever-changing requirements of the building code.
CSA Certification means that all of our windows and doors are manufactured to the same exacting standards. CSA carries out regular audits from our production line to ensure compliance. Companies that only “test” to CSA standards need only make one test window or door to those standards. No audits of regular production products are ever done to ensure compliance.
